Quests, and an epic story

Ok, so LOTRO has a main story line, the epic quests.  When you first land in Ered Luin, you find out there are some strange goings on, and as you do quests you learn that a clan of dwarves called the Dourhands are up to no good.  It's your job to stop them.  The story follows the LOTR storyline, and you're doing quests to help stop evil from taking Middle Earth.
From here on I'll be giving details about the epic quest line, questing in general, and posting a couple links to some helpful websites.

Epic quest line:

The epic line of LOTRO is separated into volumes, books, and chapters.
-Epic Introduction
Volume 1 - Shadows of Angmar (most of this area is free to play)
-Prologue
-Book I - Book XV
Volume 2 - Mines of Moria (expansion)
-Prologue
-Book I - Book IX
-Epilogue
Volume 3 - Allies of the King (expansion)
-Prologue
-Book I & II
There's another expansion coming out called Rise of Isengard, I'm guessing this will be book 4

Quests:
Every quest is assigned a level based on the levels of the creatures you are likely to find while running the quest.  You can keep 40 quests in your journal, and you can actively track a few in a side bar on your screen.  Keep an eye on quest levels in your journal!  You get experience based on the level of the quests and the level of your character.  If a quest gets too far below your own level, you won't get much experience.  If that happens, you can always drop the quest, but remember that quests in the epic line have to be done in order.  So keeping an eye on quest levels is important.
